How our guides are researched
- We start from published, verifiable sources: industry associations and standards, Minnesota utility program pages (Xcel Energy, CenterPoint), and manufacturer specifications for equipment sizing and efficiency.
- We write for the Twin Cities specifically — cold-climate heat pump behavior, sidewall-vent snow blockages, and our long heating season — rather than recycling generic national copy.
